- What's New -

Enron Project Status Update:   February 1999

Enron has identified a new location for its proposed demonstration program: the Transwestern Pipeline System, which runs from western Texas across New Mexico and Arizona. Small portions of the system are also located in Colorado, Oklahoma, and California. Enron has submitted an ammendment to their Letter of Intent that describes this new project.

OPS and Enron have met to discuss the Transwestern system and its operating history, and to discuss the company's proposal for a viable risk management demonstration project. OPS believes that this system should provide a good opportunity to test risk management. Additional discussions toward defining Enron's project will be held shortly.
